MCP (Docs)

The Callr Docs MCP server gives AI assistants (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code…) direct access to the Callr documentation and to the Callr REST API reference, so they can answer questions and write Callr Actions scenarios and API calls from up-to-date information.

What the server provides

The server is hosted at https://docs.callr.com/mcp. It lets an assistant:

  • Search and read the documentation: guides, recipes and the Callr Actions reference
  • Browse the REST API reference: list endpoints, read their parameters, request and response schemas
  • Call the REST API on your behalf, when you give it your API key
🚧

Your API key

Reading the documentation needs no key. To call the API, the assistant sends your key in the x-api-key header of each request. Never put your API key in the server URL, and use a key you can revoke.

Setup

In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings > Connectors, click Add custom connector, and enter the URL:

https://docs.callr.com/mcp

Test it

Start a new chat and ask a Callr question. For example:

  • "Write a Callr Actions scenario that forwards calls to +33199001234 and sends an SMS to the caller when nobody answers."
  • "How do I send an SMS with the Callr REST API? Show the request in Python."
  • "Which parameters does gather@v4 accept?"
  • "How do I export last month's call detail records?"

The answer should quote Callr pages or endpoints. If it does not, check that the server is enabled in your client.

For AI agents without MCP

The documentation index is also available as plain text at docs.callr.com/llms.txt, and every page has a Markdown version: add .md to its URL.
